Buenos Aires

His hotel was very centralized. Shop till you drop.

He described the city as old and historic, somewhat resembling what a European city might look like.

The Recoleta Cemetery, a famous cemetery housing tombs of the rich and famous such as Eva Peron.

Argentina houses many old churches

His very nice French Hotel. All the staff had to speak fluent French. This was a big contract for the hotel, so Rene said they were treated like royalty.

All the meat you could eat plus a bottle of wine for each person at a cost of $20 US dollars.

Some UN guys, the third being the Argentina Colonel that was nice enough to take them sightseeing.

So Rene returned safely from Argentina early Saturday morning. He spent a few hours with us then off to Phoenix he went for a AF medical meeting where he was going to do a presentation on his position as International Health Specialist. The meeting he attended in Argentina was a United Nations (UN) meeting. As always, he quickly made friends and was lucky enough to be shown around by an Argentina Army Colonel. It was interesting to here his take on the city of Argentina and the fine dinning he experienced. The video above is a depiction of what takes place in the city's downtown district. Tango dancers are everywhere.
