So yesterday Rene left for Argentina. Sounds like he had a long day with bad weather in Dallas, flight delays, and barely making the red-eye. Argentina is a 10 hour flight from Dallas. He was to arrive early this morning. He will only be gone one week, but already it feels like a month. No dentistry on this trip, he will be attending a class by invitation only. After looking at the classy French hotel he is staying in, I so wish I could have gone. Wow! I thought, you have the best job. Well, he deserves every bit of it. I can't wait to see the pictures and hear the interesting stories of his hotel and important people he met, and maybe he will pick up on some tango steps.
October has come and gone with Halloween right upon us. Larissa is still struggling with costume decisions. The weather is a cool 50 degrees then warming up to a nice 70 degrees in the afternoons. So this is the weather people told me was worth waiting for. Very nice indeed.
