The highly guarded F22

The Friendship Festival has come and gone.  I always enjoy the jets flying in and out of Yokota.  They make quite a bit of noise, but it is entertaining to watch them soar towards the sky.  The count this Sunday was estimated at 81,000 Japanese Nationals.  It was a great weekend for the vendors and PTO.  Rene worked Saturday and only had a few emergencies, mostly dehydrated people.  We wrapped up the evening with some great fireworks.  This week brings Vivace camp with a musical performance of Grease on Saturday.  Larissa always enjoys this camp.  Renie continues with two a days with their first game on Friday.  We will travel to Yokuska for the game. Rene is preparing himself for another climb up Mt. Fuji this Wednesday.  This time his goal is to make it to the summit.  They will leave at 2:00 a.m. and should start with an early morning climb.
