Well the time to decide on whether or not to run the Tokyo Marathon has arrived. Today, I had to make a decision on whether or not to run the Tokyo Marathon. This would mean I would have to train hard my last year here in Japan. Unfortunately, Tokyo's Marathon does not offer a half marathon. Training in Japan through the winter can be grueling. Running a marathon is just not that important to me, so Rene and I will run the 10K part of the marathon. Our names went into a lottery today and we will find out if we made the cut in October. The number of runners expected are around 32,000, so just getting through the start area will be challenging. On a different note, Rene had call this weekend, so we spent the day just relaxing, cleaning closets, watching movies and planning our next trip. This month will be full of adventures, none that I will mention at this time. Stay tuned, there is more to come.
