Brotherly love
Sunday was another day filled with more emotional goodbyes. We started out the day by going to church. Our priest knew it was going to be our last mass, so he asked us to go up to the altar to receive our chapel coins. Our family has volunteered helping the different ministries throughout the last three years. Larissa and Renie served as Altar servers/Ushers, Rene as lead Usher, and me as council secretary for two years. St. Micheals was an awesome church to belong to, it was the first time we truly felt like part of a parish community. Father Kawalik is someone I will miss so much. We all had some great times from visiting the Carmelite Sisters, our nightly meetings, to just jokes during fellowship. He gave us all a reason to want to go to church.
Then headed to lunch with a fellow dentist and his family. They treated us to a delicious Italian meal.
Later in the day we met our running buddies for Karaoke. We jammed out to some cool music.
Today I spent the day doing some serious cleaning. My back is hurting, so tonight I will ask Rene to give me a message using my Thai oil. Tomorrow is another busy day of more cleaning, lunch with the co-workers and dinner party for Larissa and her friends.
