Aloha

An unusual looking tree on the hotel grounds.

Larissa enjoying her last Japanese meal in Japan at the airport.

The view from our balcony.

The Catholic mass we attended this evening. It was a mass like no other.

The snowcones are to die for.

Aloha! We have arrived safely in Hawaii. After a long 7 hour flight through the night, we arrived at the hotel exhausted. We are very pleased with the Hale Koa. This military hotel is in a prime location. We were lucky to get a renovated room with a partial view to the beach. The weather and Waikiki are absolutely amazing. We slept most of the morning and are trying to get our clocks adjusted. After a wonderful dinner, we attended a beautiful Catholic mass on the beach. It was so cultural and symbolic of Hawaii. We are just now awaiting the arrival of the Galvan family, and are looking forward to a wonderful vacation as we begin our journey back home. It was very difficult to say goodbye to all our friends. We were also so touched by how many of our friends and Renie's friends showed up to say goodbye. Thanks everyone and we will miss you dearly.
