Heaven on Earth-Day 1

We are back from our wonderful vacation to Phuket Thailand. We had a wonderful adventure of a different sorts this time. Phuket frequently voted as one of the top tourist destinations in the world because of its beauty, the warmth of the Thailand people, its food and culture, and because it is still one the most cost effective places to visit in the world and truely is heaven on earth. Phuket has a small airport and we arrived in the evening and quickly started dealing for a good price on transportation. I had done my research before our trip and knew a good price for limousine service. The airport is an hour away from Patong Beach, so we knew it would be a long ride to the hotel. Our trip quickly started off with a scary taxi adventure. These taxi drivers drive over 100 km manoeuvring around scooters and other slow drivers. Needless to say, I was happy when we got to our hotel. We had decided to stay two nights on Patong Beach for shopping. Our hotel was in the center of Bangla Road connected to Jungceylon Mall.
