Breast Cancer Run 2009
This morning we got up for our usual 5 a.m. run, however it was around 30 degrees this morning, Brrrrrrrr. At about the 5 mile turn around, I took a bad fall landing straight on my hands and knees. This fall literally knocked the wind out of me. Despite the pain, I was able to push myself up and finish the run. I arrived home with bloody hands and a sore knee. Ouch!
Renie is done with football and much to my dismay has started wrestling. This is how our conversation went:
Me: "Renie, I don't think you should do wrestling. I don't know a thing about it."
Renie: "Mom, this will help me with football, and all my friends are wrestling."
Me: "Well, I don't like this idea."
Renie: "Mom, I will be Ok."
So, he is going to try it out, and I will hope for the best.
We will be away this weekend for another Esscofier Dinner (8 course meal with wine) at the New Sanno with some friends. It should be fun, but I am not looking forward to the full feeling of to much food.

Nasty fall, Ronda. It had to have hurt plenty. Tough as you are, I bet your eyes teared up.
