This morning we awoke to volcanic ash all over the streets and cars. The kids were happy to hear school had been cancelled. Mt. Asama spewed ash all the way to Yokota. They are expecting another eruption within 48 hours. The volcano is no immediate threat to us aside from the mess from all the ashes. It made for an interesting Monday morning.
