The bone yard, our drive towards Wilmont Gate



I am so ready to jump into the pool. I guess we better watch out for golf balls. Temperatures are 109-112. Hot!


Larissa is looking forward to smores nights using our gas firepit.

I am looking forward to BBQ and outdoor parties.

Everything is self sufficient on this yard. We have no grass to cut, Yes!

As we approach our move in date I continue to become more anxious about setting up shop. We could of course move in now, but we would be sleeping on the floor with no blankets. Our stuff will be delivered July 7th. All I can say about our surroundings is Wow! Vail is a new housing area outside of Tucson, so there is not much around. We have a Walgreens and that is about it. My nearest shopping center (Target, Safeway) will be approx. 6-12 miles. The drive around Vail is scenic with your cactus and dry land surrounding the area. Adobe homes sparsely blanket the mountain areas. The commute for Rene will be around 30 minutes, but it is a nice drive with little or no traffic. I feel confident that this location is going to make our 3-4 years here memorable and enjoyable. An added plus is the nice running path through the golf course and around the housing community. Can't wait for October which is the time most say is absolutely gorgeous. Sit back, relax and enjoy the ride.
